The 16th edition of the George Town Literary Festival takes place from 27 to 29 November 2026, organised by Penang Institute. The theme is Cosmopolises, which looks at how people build shared lives across differences.
The programme covers books, translation, history and food culture. Visitors register for a free Festival Pass, and the organisers are recruiting volunteers for the three days.
